The University of Florida has been ranked among the nation’s leaders at transferring world-class research to commercial partners capable of turning these discoveries into commercial products that are impacting the world. Often times the commercial partner is a company created solely for this purpose. These companies require tremendous resources both in terms of business and scientific talent as well as capital.Our Celebration of Innovation is a unique opportunity to see start-up companies in the areas of life sciences, medical devices, and information technology that are commercializing the latest in cutting-edge technologies generated as a result of $678 million in research conducted at UF.
